Used by writers around the world

Three humanizers later

and you still can't hit send in peace

Retro robot wearing an obviously fake moustache: text that looks human at a glance still reads robotic, which is the problem ClearScript actually solves

Word swaps are a disguise, not a rewrite

Most humanizers are tuned for a detector score, so the moment the number moves, they call it human. Look closer and 'artificial intelligence' has become 'counterfeit consciousness', a clause or two has flipped, and the skeleton underneath hasn't moved. Your ideas deserve more than a fresh coat of synonyms.

Your reader was never looking at a number. They feel the shape: sentences marching in step, a point landing exactly where they saw it coming. Every chatbot and humanizer leaves its own predictable fingerprint on everything it writes. ClearScript leaves yours, so no two writers ever get the same rewrite.

The part everyone else skipped

Most humanizers learned from other AI, ours learned from people

Under the hood, they're a prompt in a trench coat: a chatbot asked nicely to sound less like a chatbot. ClearScript went straight to the source: 10,000,000+ pieces of real human writing. Reading one a minute, nonstop, would take you 19 years. It came out unpredictable the way you are: it speeds up, stops short to land a point, and never says 'utilize' when 'use' will do.

Which is the whole point. To be fair, that cuts both ways.Short version:Turns out it wasn't the budget.

Sentences a model never writes on its own. Now they show up in yours.

Surgical Humanization™: humanize AI text in four steps

Each step fixes something other humanizers get wrong, and it all takes about 30 seconds.

  1. Studies your intent

Before it changes a word, ClearScript works out what you're arguing. Your point, numbers and sources stay put, even the stat a cheap rewrite would garble.

  2. Clones your voice

It picks up your rhythm, your sentence lengths and the words you actually reach for. If you'd never write 'moreover', neither will it.

  3. Rewrites the whole draft

Word-swap tools trade a dozen synonyms and call it done. ClearScript rebuilds every paragraph with uneven, human rhythm, so it reads like you sat down and wrote it.

  4. Rescans it in the same tab

Unlimited AI detection checks every sentence of the result, so you can watch the score flip before you copy a word.

No AI humanizer protects your credibility like this

ClearScript works like a human editor: it reads the whole draft, then reshapes phrasing and rhythm in your voice. Your meaning never moves.

In today's fast-paced world, urban trees play a crucial role in building healthier, more sustainable cities. They provide shade, reduce air pollution, and improve mental well-being. Furthermore, it is important to note that trees can lower street temperatures by up to 5°C in summer. Additionally, green spaces foster a sense of community. Ultimately, investing in urban trees is essential for a sustainable future.

The case for urban trees is mostly practical. Their shade can leave a street up to 5°C cooler on a summer afternoon than the bare block beside it, and the canopy filters the air people breathe on the walk to work. Residents feel better and spend more time outside, where neighbors actually meet. Few line items in a city budget pay back as well.

Why people switch to ClearScript's AI humanizer

You've got better things to do than rewrite a rewrite

Learned from people, not other AI

Your last humanizer sounded like a chatbot because it learned from one. This one studied 10,000,000+ samples of real human writing.

No two writers get the same rewrite

It adapts to how you write, quirks included, so your text never picks up the stock phrasing cheap humanizers stamp on everyone.

Unlimited AI detection built in

Each sentence gets its own AI score, so you know exactly which lines need work and can recheck after every edit.

Precision mode, for drafts you mostly like

Three flagged lines shouldn't cost you the other thirty. Precision mode shows why each flagged line reads as AI and rewrites only those.

Any chatbot, written like a native

Paste from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or DeepSeek in any of nine languages and get it back the way a native would put it, minus the translated-English stiffness.

Rerun it as often as you need

Changed a paragraph the night before? Throw the whole chapter back in and run it again.

Independent October 2026 benchmark. Four ways of humanizing AI text rewrote the same 120 long English drafts, written by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and DeepSeek as reports, articles, cover letters and emails. Default settings, five runs per draft, 2,380 outputs, none edited by hand. Declined drafts are excluded. Competitor scores come from each tool's default web product.

Human score averages three leading AI detectors. Read as human is the share of first rewrites a blind panel of 40 native readers judged human; human-written controls scored 94.2%. Unpredictability is the spread of sentence length and word choice, with human writing at 100%. Facts kept intact means every number, name, date and citation survived.

Who humanizes AI text? Pretty much everyone

Your name's on it, so the voice should be yours

  • Humanize emails, decks and reports before they go out
  • Lose the overconfident chatbot tone clients spot in one line
  • Numbers, names and dates come back exactly as you typed them

The six tells that give AI writing away

Six patterns give chatbot writing away, and readers spot them before any software does. ClearScript rewrites all six out of your draft.

The even rhythm

Machine sentences carry one idea each and land at nearly the same width every time. In the human writing we measured, a single document held a twenty-word sentence, a fifty-word sentence and one that ran past a hundred. The average barely moves. The range is what widens, and that spread is the deepest structural difference between the two.

Events locked inside nouns

A chatbot writes 'the implementation of a monitoring framework' where a person writes 'somebody built a way to keep track'. The action gets parked in an abstract noun and a weak verb is brought in to prop it up. Handing the action back to a verb is the single largest change available, and no fact moves when you make it.

The synonym rotation

Ask a model for a paragraph on a case study and you get 'the case study', 'this example', 'the scenario' and 'the instance', all pointing at the same thing. Repetition was trained out of it. People name a thing and keep calling it that, and that plainness reads as human.

The predictable joints

Furthermore, moreover, in conclusion, it is important to note that. These are the hinges of a stock answer written by something that has read a million of them. Ordinary writing joins clauses with a comma or a colon and often does not announce the turn at all.

The reversal formula

'It is not just a tool, it is a mirror.' 'Not only X, but also Y.' 'The architecture of', 'the currency of', 'the language of'. These make a plain claim sound quotable without making it any more precise, and once you have seen the pattern you can't unsee it in chatbot output.

The dash habit

A dash standing between two clauses is the loudest mark of AI writing right now, and people who have never heard of a detector still notice it. A hyphen inside a word like well-being is a different mark doing a different job, and it belongs exactly where it is.

AI detectors are hardest on non-native English

Your English is not the problem. In a 2023 Stanford study, seven popular AI detectors labeled 61% of writing samples by non-native English speakers as AI-generated, while samples by native speakers were classified almost perfectly.

Textbook English reads as machine-made

The rules you learned make your English clean and even, and a detector reads clean and even as a machine. That's why lines you wrote yourself come back flagged as AI.

What the rewrite changes

Surgical Humanization™ learns your voice from your own lines, then changes how your sentences move. Your argument, evidence and sources stay where you put them. Your English was fine to begin with.

AI humanizer vs paraphraser: which one you need

An AI humanizer rewrites AI-generated text so it reads like a person wrote it. A paraphraser restates a passage in new words and keeps its meaning.

What it's for

AI humanizer

Your AI draft says what you mean but still sounds like a chatbot.

Paraphraser

A source or a passage you need in your own words, with the citation kept.

What it changes

AI humanizer

The whole draft: rhythm, sentence length, connectives and paragraph shape, in your voice. Facts and sources stay put.

Paraphraser

The words and sentence order, one passage at a time. The structure underneath mostly stays.

Run the AI detector first to see which lines read as AI. Restating a source is a job for the paraphrasing tool, and both come on the same plan as the humanizer.

Stay on the right side of the AI rules that apply to you

Every employer, publisher and course draws its own line on AI help, and the only version that counts is the one written down for you. Look up what yours asks you to disclose, then disclose it. ClearScript rewrites a draft you already have so it reads like you, which is editing. Getting the disclosure right is what keeps it that way.

Everything people ask before they paste

What is an AI humanizer?

An AI humanizer rewrites text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other chatbot so it reads like a person wrote it. A good one changes how the writing moves (sentence rhythm and length, connectives, structure) and leaves your meaning, facts and citations where they were. ClearScript calls its approach Surgical Humanization™: it studies what your draft means, learns your voice and rewrites the whole draft so it reads like you. It learned from 10,000,000+ samples of real human writing and comes with its own AI detector, so you can rescan the result in the same tab.

What is the best AI humanizer in 2026?

ClearScript is the best AI humanizer in 2026. In an independent October 2026 benchmark of 120 long AI drafts, it averaged a 97.4% human score, and blind readers took 91.7% of its rewrites for human writing, against 20.8% or less for StealthGPT, Phrasly and WriteHuman. Its proprietary models learned from 10,000,000+ real human texts and adapt to your own voice, so research papers, professional emails and SEO content all come back reading like you, from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI writer, in nine languages. Unlimited AI detection is included, so you can check the result in the same tab.

What is Surgical Humanization™?

It's how ClearScript humanizes AI text, in four steps. It reads your whole draft to work out your point and pin your facts and sources, learns your voice from your own lines, rewrites the draft so it reads the way a person writes, then rescans it in the same tab. If you'd rather keep most of your draft, precision mode marks each line that reads as AI, says why, and rewrites only those lines.

Will humanizing bring my AI score down?

Usually, because the score follows the writing: the rewrite cuts the stiff rhythm, the repeated structure, the generic transitions and the predictable phrasing that make text read as machine-made. How far the number moves depends on the detector and on how much of the draft changed. No tool can promise a result on every detector, because every detector scores differently. Rescan in ClearScript after the rewrite and judge from the new score in front of you.

What can I humanize, and does it make the text easier to read?

Research papers, reports, emails, scripts, articles, notes, landing pages and client drafts, in any of the nine languages. AI text comes out uniform and overly formal, so the rewrite usually reads faster than the original as well as scoring lower.

How much does ClearScript cost?

You start on a low intro offer, then the Unlimited plan covers unlimited humanizing, unlimited AI detection, the paraphraser and the grammar checker in one subscription. The current offer is on the pricing page, and you can cancel from settings whenever you like.

Can it handle a long report or a whole chapter?

Yes. ClearScript takes up to 10,000 words in one run, which covers most long reports and full chapters in a single pass. For anything book-length, feed it chapter by chapter. Citations, numbers and section order hold their place unless you pick the Strong setting. Read each chapter back once before you stitch them together.

Does the humanizer work in my language?

Yes. The humanizer rewrites in the language you paste and holds the register of that language. It works best in the nine languages the app ships in: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Russian, and Indonesian. Careful second-language English is the case it helps most, so paste your own text and judge the result yourself.

How do I make ChatGPT text sound more human?

Start with rhythm: join two tidy sentences into one long one, then let the next sit flat with nothing clever in it. Stop rotating synonyms and use the same noun twice. Find the sentences where the action is stuck inside a noun, like 'the implementation of a process', and give it back to a verb. Cut 'furthermore' and 'in conclusion', take out any dash sitting between two clauses, and put the caveat inside the sentence that made the claim instead of the one after it. ClearScript does all of that in one pass, and the moves work by hand too.

Is it okay to use an AI humanizer?

That depends on whose rules you write under, not on us. Rewriting your own draft so it reads naturally is ordinary editing and every writer does it. Passing off work you did not do is a different thing, and no tool changes that. Look up what the people you write for expect you to disclose about AI help, and follow it. If the rules say declare it, declare it.

English is not my first language. Will this flatten my voice?

It should not. ClearScript learns your voice from your own lines before it rewrites, so your argument, evidence and sources stay where they were and the phrasing still sounds like you. If you'd rather keep most of your draft, run it on the Light setting or switch to precision mode, which changes only the lines that read as AI. Keep a copy of your draft and read the two side by side before you decide which version to keep.

Does it get rid of the em dashes ChatGPT adds?

That is the plan. A dash standing between two clauses is one of the loudest tells there is, so the rewrite is instructed to produce none of them: where your draft has one, the sentence is written again with a full stop, a comma, brackets or a clause that does not need it. A hyphen inside a word like well-being is a different mark and it stays. Every run is checked for a stray one afterwards, so we know how often it happens.

Does humanizing fix plagiarism?

No, and be wary of anything that promises it. Humanizing rewrites a draft you already have. ClearScript does not go back and look at what that draft was built from, so if a passage leaned on a source without crediting it, changing the words does not fix the attribution. Cite the source. That is a separate job from making the writing sound like you.

Who owns the text after the rewrite?

You do. You keep every right to what you paste in and to what comes back, and we do not claim ownership of either. Your draft is processed to produce the result you asked for, and the full text is not kept after that run beyond what the privacy policy sets out. If you are about to paste a manuscript nobody else has read yet, that page is where to check exactly what happens to it.
